Husband Material

2013 was a great year for the advancement of marriage equality in the United States. But in 2011, a online series had already imagined this as the reality for their premise. This series that started on youtube is called Husbands, and it's about two gay celebrities getting hitched after a drunken night in Vegas (and decides to stay married for the 'cause'). It stars Brad Bell (actor and writer for the show) and Sean Hemeon.

Brad Bell is freaking awesome and hilarious as the more flamboyant of the newlyweds, and his character's irrepressible energy, quick wit, and surprising depth is what sealed the deal for me.

But before I was hooked on by the powerhouse that is Brad Bell, before any deal could be proposed...The reason I gave this show a chance in the first place was the other half of the newlywed...the hunkahunka manmeat of the show...Sean Hemeon.

Not satisfied with only seeing still images of Sean Hemeon? How about these gifs? http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee364/xGlitterxBabyx/Gifs/Mine/Husbands/Brady-Airbrush.gif~original

Still now satisfied? Why don't you just watch an episode?
This is the first episode of the first season (which has 11 episodes that are each less than two minutes long). I dare you to not watch the whole 11 episodes in a row!

When you're done with season 1, watch Season 2 (which is 3 episodes that are 9 minutes long). This is probably the best season in terms of seeing Sean Hemeon shirtless.

Then when you're with season 2, jump on over to CWseeds to watch Season 3.

While I'm not sure the fate of Husbands...whether CWseeds has picked up Season 4 and it's just on a long hiatus...or this is all the episodes that we're ever going to see of Husbands...but I can tell you that this show is a treasure, and I'm so glad I discovered it!
